Hey Guys,

This is short notice and I apologise. Due to a couple details outside of my control, I am unable to attend the official OPC event this weekend at Parallax. This is the first (and hopefully only expo) I will have to miss.

That being said, I know there are at least a handful of people in the NE Ohio area+ who are unable to attend as well.

Here's what I propose:

I'm going to open the shop at Propellerpowered (Orrville, OH) Saturday afternoon. (Around the opening time of the expo in CA, as they are behind us)

I've got a reasonable internet connection, a projector and screen already in place.

If you would like to join me for OPC fun and Propeller's "Ohio Style", my door will be open. Bring your Propellers! Just reply to this thread with your intention to attend..

    Dang! I just checked the weather forecast, 68, sunny and a strong chance of outdoor honey-do's. It looks like I'll miss the OPC at least 2 ways this year!! :frown:

    We can always hope for bad weather!!

    Great idea and offer, Jeff. I hope others get to have fun while I'm working.....I mean sharing common interests with my spouse.

    Will there be popcorn there? :). Since I missed the last get together in Ohio due to my Mother-In-Law going to the emergency room (everything turned out ok) and my B-Day is coming up I'll use them and my best puppy dog eyes on my wife to clear out this Saturday, so I'm planning on coming.

    Thanks OBC for doing this. I always wanted to go to Parallax for their expos but couldn't justify the cost. At least now I can be part of it even though it will be remotely.

    Paul,

    If that's too short a drive, you can swing by Connecticut and pick me up. :)

    8-1/2 hours for me.

    Well I'm only two hours away. I'll swing by and pick up doggiedoc and Publison since the more the merrier. ;) In fact if there are more people my share of the cost of the flowers for MindRobots will be less and I can spend more at Propeller Powered!!!!

    I've posted a copy of the OPC speaking schedule on the Propellerpowered forums converted to Eastern Standard Time.
