Hello everyone!

Propeller is great for machines. Fuzzy logic is the best solution when PID don´t work.
I don´t understant why there are not a good fuzzy logic object in obex!
Any sugestion?

thanks!

I am not sure what fuzzy logic is. Why won't a PID work? There are some great PID objects in the exchange. What type of machine are you trying to run?

    Hi AS.

Look in ViewPort made by Hanno.

Hi have Fuzz object as demo to it.

    Hello! Thanks for the answers.

Shawn: In some complex systems, not-linears or when is not easy to have a good measures of physical variables the Fuzzy is a great solution.

Sapieha: Thanks for the sugestion! I already spent some hours to understant the Fuzzy object of ViewPort made by Hanno. Is not a universal object, it is made for that example, and with my programing knowledge i have some dificult to understand everything he did.

There are a very simple example that a PID doesn´t work, just fuzzy logic: If we have 2 valves, hot water and cold water, and we need to have to maintain the level and the temperature in the tank, we have a fuzzy problem. A washing machine have fuzzy logic!

This solution have a lot of real aplications!

Exist a fuzzy object for arduino but i prefer the propeller because we have 8 cogs.

I hope that somebody can give me some help, this is a very good aplication to propeller.

    Thanks!

I believe fuzzy is just a formal way of performing logic on sampled analogue inputs. Something like a hysteresis function that controls a slowly cycling contactor for heating could be considered as fuzzy even if it's not put through a formal fuzzy operator.
