Crazy Wireless Idea: Suggestions please

OK, So I have an idea that I want to try but I am not sure that it will work. What I want to do is make a PINK or Spinnernet wirelessly accessible. I do not want to use XBee or the current 433 MHz XTR.RCVR that Parallax sells. What I would like to do is to use a wireless repeater. So, basically I already have a wireless newtork set up. I want to use a repeater that either a PINK or Spinnernet connects to and will be accessible over my entire Network without being hardwired to my LAN. I have done some reading on repeaters but I am not sure if it is doable this way or not. I can not use a WAP because that has to have a wire to my LAN. I tried a second wireless router to no avail. I just need an inexpensive device that the PINK or Spinnernet connects to and that wireless connection connects to my current wireless router. Make sense???
