PropScope freezes

I am running Win7 64-bit with SW v2.0.5 with a PropScope that I recently purchased from a distributor. After running for about a minute, the propscope freezes up, and I must stop the system then hit run again before the signal returns. It happens more often when switching between time scales (especially below 10us). Help?

    Your PropScope hardware is faulty- your symptoms match an issue that was resolved last year. Please contact Parallax for a replacement.

    I'll pass the prize to KenEngland- see his diagnosis of why some PropScope's freeze after several seconds. Thankfully Parallax has replaced the regulator and the issue is resolved.
