Is there a conversion that allows the Prop Professional board to collect data into an Open Office spreadsheet? Can I run my data into a Linux based machine or a Windows machine that does not have Windows Office ?

Yeah, that's three questions, but they all drive to the same problem.

You could always format the output data from the prop to comma separated text which could then be imported to an Open Office or Windows Office spreadsheet. To store the data on the PC you could use a terminal emulation program or other program, or even write your own program in one of many languages.

You can also use StampPlot Pro instead of PLX-DAQ with StampPlot saving your data to a comma separated text file to later import into Open Office.

O.K. I'm curious. Where do you find StampPlot Pro?

Yeah, I'm replying to my own reply.....( so I talk to myself - I used to work in a nuclear power plant)

The official upgrade and owners of the software is now http://www.selmaware.com/
