Went and done it. Decided to take the tablet plunge. Main criteria, my convenience and keeping up with the paperwork of my job as an imaging biomed engineer in a large hospital chain. The leading candidate for all of my requirements turns out to be Microsoft Surface Pro. Two days in after the registration process, I still dislike M$ as a company, think the information they want (and mostly are not getting) is still a bit invasive. That said, they have so far exceeded all my expectations. RSQ poses no problems as I can set compatibility mode for IE7 and leave the rest @IE10. I am about to try talking to my current ADC mess with this unit. It is very fast, and the USB 3.0 runs my terabyte archive/service doc drive sooooo much faster than my other systems. Quirks? no shortage of them, but M$ does not have that market cornered either much as I would like to think otherwise. So, Heater, Jazzed, Pototohead et. al. which is the beat way to set up with the IDE, propgcc and all the rest of the goodies? And yeah, this thing is running Win8........
And it runs PST and latest prop tool perfectly.....

It includes propgcc and other bits and bobs. I'm not the man to ask about any issues as I very rarely have to use a Windows machine.
