Unless Tommy protests, I say we run this sucker off the rails as far as she'll go!
No complaints here, I love a good train wreck... The rubble, cinder, smoke and ash, can always be sifted thru to find the live ones...:)
Besides, I can always use this thread to add to my list of "free thinkers" that I will turn over to the authorities,(who ever that is..)
So that I might cause an increase in the size of my pie slice...

    As for Water and Electricity,
I tried testing the Water analogy, but, the GFI kept tripping, and my Breadboard was never the same after that...

So, I really do appreciate they did not try to drown me with the water analogy, and instead, held my hand and displayed pictures of volt meters...

At least in Argentina, and I mean in the Spanish language, we say Kir-chof (with ch like in chopper), but in German, we say kirch-hoff... (with ch like in.. I don't know but not like in chopper) how bad we speak :( I learnt thoes rules at an early age and they kind of made sense... (I'm sure) there are a couple of differential equations behind them :)

http://videolectures.net/mit802s02_lewin_lec16/ from about 36:00 to 44:00 - seems relevant to this thread (and if you haven't seen Walter Lewin's lectures I'd recommend them!)

@electricAye, about the 3 Stooges: You must surely be referring to the circuit Curly builds at minutes 10 to 11? Hilarious!

Indeed. It is an astonishingly accurate portrayal of not only system dynamics but also modern project management. Curly even manages to drill his holes by running the drill backwards. I've seen only one other engineer accomplish such a feat - drilling steel no less.
