Happy National Robotics Week

I did my part today, went to a meeting of the LA Robotics Club, which meets in various locations around Los Angeles. Today was conveniently 3 miles from my house at an "entrepreneurial center" . My first visit to the this location and second visit to the club. I took several bots (mecanum, 2 arms, RoboVoice and Robotime dino) and did demonstrations. It was an "open lab" session, no one else did any presenting. A mecanum robot always pleases, huh W9GFO? An interesting mix of adults & high school kids, even a 4-year old cutie who loved the plywood dinosaur (last pic). Should have brought my twins, but it was their prime naptime 1-4. Heck, a nap sounds good to me right now.

The group is fairly well organized through "Meetup", which limits location and some other info to members only. Here's a link to some of their photos. BTW, I made some interesting side connections at the entrepreneurial center (VC groups) today. So if you never hear from me again, my killer robot app took off and I'm filthy stinkin' rich!

@erco, Nice way to showcase your work. Just a thought, but would anyone even consider boarding a ship named Titanic II? I myself would will never do a cruise and I would be especially skeptical to board another Titanic?
