There's a lot to like about this video. Probably the last thing you'll notice is the amazing long-travel suspension on the truck, and how well it damps/absorbs the landings on rough terrain without bouncing. Very hard to appreciate until you've tried it yourself. There's some eye candy in there as well. :)

I see a new Hot Wheels Truck/Track in the making.
There's some eye candy in there as well.

I viewed it for the technical aspect only. :)

Pretty sure the car is a Nissan GT-R. Only $99,590 MSRP (starting price) for the new 2014 model.

    Cool.

Masses. Springs. Dampers - Inductors, Capacitors, Resistors. It's all the same you know. Just a case of impedance matching.

With the possible exception of the ridiculous women's shoes, that was a great production all the way around. Gotta love the cinematography.

Monster is about the worst tasting energy drink there is, it seems good taste is not their strong point!

Twenty-five plus years ago I used to do that - for fun. It's amazing how the technology has improved the ride. We had 4 shocks per wheel and could easily go across the furrows on a plowed field at 100 mph and not feel a bump, but when racing in the woods or out in the desert it got pretty rough. The jumps were great - a few seconds of peace. I finally had to quit because of a neck injury caused by my heavy helmet flopping my head around on my scrawny neck. But it was great fun while it lasted.

How utterly sexist. Monster trucks and bikini clad women in high heels out in the desert. Maybe this is why I don't direct as many folks to the Forums as I used to (esp. young people and girls).

Yes indeed. It would've been much more acceptable if it had been all dudes wearing muumuus in the city.

    Nah,

Sexist is assuming that girls, young or old, can have no interest in monster trucks.
