New Eddie Encoders... couple questions
I have the new encoders for my old Eddie, and I found this thread New Encoder Upgrade Instructions for Eddie and MadeUSA Robots on how to install them, but I still have a couple questions...
1) The instructions seem to stop after the replacing of the encoders, but does not explain how to attach the wires coming off the encoders to the robot control board. The old encoders were daisy-chained on my robot, and I dont think the new ones can be connected that way or can they? Can you please provide more detail and/or pictures for the connection to the control board
2) The thread does not talk about the firmware, Im thinking 1.3 is for new encoders and 1.1 is for the old ones, yes?

The instructions to connect the encoders to the control board are in the second paragraph on page 13 of the Eddie Robot Assembly Instructions v1.3, available from http://www.parallax.com/eddie. You should use firmware version 1.3 with the new encoders and 1.1 for the old position controllers.
