    Phew, from the title I was afraid someone emailed you a pic of my quite-cluttered workbench!

    I like their rather generic-sounding tagline, "The Makeblock Ultimate Robot kit can be used to build something big, strong and professional."

    I am always looking for alternatives to vex -- don't get me wrong, I really like their stuff too, but I can't even play with their web-site without dropping money like a drunken sailor in vegas.

    I bought two of the big VEX starter kits many moons ago when Radio Shack blew them out for either $99 or $149. Haven't touched either. Will probably gift them to a nephew or two.

    Most of the VEX stuff is overpriced. But their conspicuous bargain is their mecanum wheels IMO.
