Hi
I recently purchased a Quickstart board and at first it worked no problem. Now i'm haveing problems though trying to load code onto it. Whenever i try to load the code i get a 'No Propeller chip found on any serial port' message. i went through the forums and re-installed the ftdi drivers, the updated propeller tool, and parallax's usb drivers, but although my computer recognizes the board, the propeller tool continues to show this message. Am i missing anything? Any suggestions on how to get it to work?
Thanks

You can't get it back in.
I would check the voltage going to the Propeller, and check congruity from the FTDI circuitry to the Propeller. It's hard to help without more information. It really comes down to checking all the possible variables, then if everything looks ok, then you might have fried the Propeller, or something else. The Propeller is fairly robust, but when you are first getting into circuit building, it's easy to do something you didn't know you weren't supposed to do, and you end up burning something important.
Thanks
I tried a new cable, i believe Bobb Fwed is right i probably fried something....
It's saved many a QuickStart users frustration. I thought the latest Prop Tool took care of the problem but just in case, this is an easy one to try.
Also try unplugging and replugging the usb cable sometimes you have to be quick pressing the F key and other times you have to wait a little bit it all depends as I've found out recently.
I occasionally have to do the same. I've found when my board is being stubborn, it seems to help if I can quickly press the "OK" button (or press enter) and then quickly hit F11 (or F10). This doesn't happen often but it can be annoying when it does.
