I think that one puts out too much data for the Prop to handle.

OBC has hacked a Force Trainer and I've hacked Mindflex but neither of us have used them to control anything.

Would either of those be suitable for the prop? Do the headbands read pretty consistent?

NeuroSky made the EEG parts of both the devices. I'd suggest using Mindwave since the toys' data output seems to be modified not to include the raw data. At least the Mindflex game had missing data.

Some people aren't convinced the toys ever output anything other than random data. I think the output was meaningful but very very hard to control conscienceless. It was only when I'd concentrate on reading some instructions did I get a strong "concentrate" output. If I tried to just "concentrate" it wouldn't work. It was very strange. I intend to play with this again sometime.

I take it back. The Mindwave device looks like it uses USB. It might be possible to hack into the signal before it gets converted to USB but the MindFlex game had a serial signal that could easily be hacked into. I assume it was the same for the Force Trainer.

I thought NeuroSky make a model with serial output that didn't have the restrictions the toys had but I'm not sure if they're still sold.
