It was just mentioned to me that the player still didn't work for wav files ripped with Windows Media Player (I didn't even know that program could rip CDs...). Just took a look and wouldn't you know it, Microsoft has played some games with the header... But, I think I have it figured out... First, I have to search for "fmt ", then search for "data".
But, not only that but they give the bits per sample as 32 where other programs give it as 16.
I suppose they mean left+right = 32 bits, but that's not how other programs do it.
Anyway, I just have it ignore the #bits for now until this gets straightened out...
Can I just say without adding confusion to this that I did the same as above and removed any tag info and just saved the files through audacity and have had no problems running wavs as long as 6 minutes long. This was with the original wav player not the revisions
