Hello:

I really like the BST tool because it work right out of the box on MAC OS X.

However it is need of some maintenance and upgrades. So i thought if i could buy the source code for a few thousand dollars and make upgrades would people on this list be willing to pay a modest fee for upgrades?

What do you think?

cheers,
Rich

I think for the majority the parallax propeller tool works fine. Next choice in future might be the upcoming parallax development environment which will also be available for Mac & Linux. Not to forget the guys that prefere to code in Basic or Forth ..... So, my guess is that the market for the BST is too little to make money with updates.

Hi. Something is available right now, but at the moment it does not behave like Propeller Tool.
Behaving like Propeller Tool is very important to many people here, and the timing of when a SPINny SimpleIDE will happen is not clear yet.

Here is the latest MAC OSX 64 bit version.
    https://code.google.com/p/propside/downloads/detail?name=SimpleIDE-0-8-5-MacOSX-x86-64.zip
Click the download button when you get there.

I wonder at the economics of this, and if you could actually buy BST for "a few thousand dollars".

In any case, I think BST will grow into the history of the Propeller, and not be in it's future.

Speaking of the Xst's here, any news or changes in the PZST project? Is it serial yet?
