I've been looking for a drawing program that ran on both my Mac & iPad.
Found this for FREE. Only used a little but is seems to be well worth its price.

http://www.digikey.com/us/en/mkt/scheme-it.html

It's from Digi-Key Electronics. All you have to do is register.
Just a basic package but all I want is something neater than my hand drawn chicken scratches.

I think it's been posted before, but no harm posting it again. It works fine in the Android browser too btw, better than this forum for example.

I really like this software but have a question. How do you create a new part? The on line help seems to be for an older version and does not explain how to do this with the new version. I tried selecting and editing a current part but could not figure that out either. Help!!!!!

    Hello,

I generally go to custom symbols and pick out the square block. You can add pins and text to your schematic.

    Here's one:

I like Schemeit for posting simple circuit snipits.
For more general use I like TinyCAD.

ExpressPCB comes with a free schematic drawing program, ExpressSCH. been using it for years. Has a large parts section which lets you build your own parts or modify theirs and start a new library.
