Has anyone seen these USB (also has versions controllable via a micro controller like the Propeller perhaps) 32x16 RGB LED Matrix displays?

They are a bit expensive at $150 USD + shipping but can play video, pictures, etc. They have much larger sizes too at a premium cost.

I've been playing/working with some $6 8x8 arrays. I've had a PCB made and I'm working on code in hopes of driving a bunch (16?) with a single Propelller.

I doubt I'll be able to get the LEDs do what the Hackspark does, but it should be less expensive.

While I hope to be able to make a similar sized array for less money, $150 isn't a bad price for what that can do.

Your Adafruit setup can do all this and more and is less expensive, right?

Or, do you like that it is controlled by a computer over USB connection?
Seems that we could make some PC software to do the same thing...

After chatting with Jonathan from HackSpark! yesterday he said they have boards like the Adafruit in 6 pitch? size and also 10 pitch? size (LEDs spead apart more).

They have basically an Adafruit "like" board with a built in controller board (FPGA?) into the LED board itself from what I understand.
