hello,
I have a romo robot that uses the audio port and fsk to run on ios or android. i want to use the prop to control the robot. i have search for the robot protocol on the romotive site with no luck. is there a way to reverse engineer the robot to find the right frequencies for a prop fsk board to simply make the robot move around with sensors.
thanks,

Or you can use a propeller with a sigma-delta adc to find out what kind of signal they send - square wave or sine wave. According to the result you might go on with a prop and with or without sigma-delta to record/display the signal.
Once you know what the signal looks like it should be easy-peasy!
Oh... easier way ... if it is audio you can also connect it to the line-in of a sound-card. There is software around which makes line-in a cheap scope.
PS: Just wondering if there is software for the phone which can show the waveform of the audio out?
As #2 said, try a Sound card.
I've used this one :- http://www.daqarta.com/
which may have enough in the demo-mode to do what you need ?
