Google Fiber Connection Speed Test

Google installed fiber to the curb and--yesterday--copper into the house. Here is a speed test using a two year old Dell laptop.

That's the same as BT's new Infinity system, with fibre to cabinets in the road and copper to the houses:

They claim up to 38 Mb download speed.

I recently upgraded to it and get about 29 Mb download speed over wi-fi with my four-year old Dell laptop. I haven't checked it with a direct connection but it should be faster.
