6 Pin Bridge - What is the definition?

I have a Prop Project Board USB I'm using for a dedicated project and have come across the term "6 pin bridge" both in the docs and on the PCB itself. Google has been of little to no help so I am now resorting to probably looking like a total fool by asking for this. However, as an educator in the medical field, I have always told my students that there is no such thing as a dumb question. Sooooo..... 6 pin bridge - what does it mean, what's the application, etc?

-Mike, TIA

The six pin bridge first mentioned on page 2, and described on page 6? http://www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/prop/32810-Propeller-Project-Board-USB-Guide-v1.0.pdf

The "six pin bridge" is connected to one of the positive voltages. From the picture, I can't tell which one but it looks like VDD (3.3v). You can check with the multimeter. The 12 pins below that are connected to ground. Note the white lines: that indicates a connection between holes.

I agree: the documentation could be a bit more clear here.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I noticed that the 6 pins are, well, bridged. They don't seem to be connected to anything other than themselves. There is reference to using these as a convenient way to power/utilize secondary LDO (or any other regulator I guess) . I just wanted to make sure that this wasn't a spec for something potentially useful - although it is in a way.
