Wilbur 'Bot

Finished the new chassis for Wilbur a bit ago. He's now four wheel drive, but still doing the steering by varying the speed of the servos. I need to mount the battery and Stamp BOE and rewrite the code to drive 4 servos (=That= should be fun!). Hope to have a video later this afternoon!

A picture of the underside would be great. I'm guessing that it's almost like two Boe-bots fused at the middle?

@Martin_H That's pretty much the way it's going to work... back to back BoeBots, hinged in the "back".

I had him running under his own power this afternoon... just. While running a straight line, there is a drift to the left. Understandable 'cuz I didn't bother to calibrate the servos.
Steering is going to be the interesting part. Both ends have to be involved in turning the wee beastie. So far I've gotten to the point:
    1. Drive in a straight line
    2. Stop
    3. Issue pivot turns to both ends
    4. Drive in an arc
    5. Stop
    6. Issue reverse pivot turns to both ends
    7. Drive off in a new direction
I think I can make turns by changing servo speeds on the fly, but just haven't gotten that far yet.
