Thanks to our Community Moderators!

Many of you may not realize all the background work our Community (non-Parallax) Moderators do to help make these forums a better place for everyone in the Parallax Community. Our moderators answer technical questions, remove duplicate posts, move posts from the wrong sections into the right ones and most importantly get rid of spam and spammers! Most of this is completely transparent to the average forum member, but for someone like me who comes in several times a day to handle reported posts I find that 95% of the time one of our community moderators has taken care of the reported post.

I would just like to offer a community thanks to these veteran community members who do this as a service to the forum community here. Thank you very much for your help in keeping the forums clean, clear and safe!

Thanks to the moderators. This forum has been fun and helpful. I don't think I would have been as successful with my various projects without it. So thanks to people who have answered my questions too.

I would like to thank not only the moderators but the immoderators, too. After all, without one, could there be the other?

Agreed, without them the experience would not be as enjoyable or informative. Thanks.

You may not know this, but your moderators buy and try out all of the products offered by our guest spammers to ensure that forum members do not miss out on any real deals. My home and office are filled with jewelry, Nike shoes, and knockoff consumer electronics.
So far nothing has passed our rigorous standards, but rest assured that when one of these hard-to-believe offers merits the attention of the forum, you will be given the opportunity to get in on the deal.

Ah, so being a moderator has perks! It must be nice to have all of that *high quality* stuff...

It's not for everyone, that's for sure. However everyone can help by clicking the "Report this post/blog" button when you see suspicious posts or blog entries. This way we can look at them and deal with them as quickly as possible.
