I should have stolen the Batmobile when I had the chance. :) $4.2 million!

    Actually, the real original Batmobile was found to be a very poor car to drive. It seems that it just couldn't handle turns. So, there was a second facsimile one that was made that was used for publicity appearances.

    Why the problem? I dunno., the rear turbine may have just been too much foward thrust.

    For 4.2 million, I could think of a lot of other cars that I'd rather own. BTW, the Number 1 Batmobile has sold for 4.6 million. Is this a drop in value on a more recent sale?. I suspect that the $400 represents the auctioner's fee. God I'd love to be an auction house.

    It was originally purchased for $1, but the lucky first buyer.
