Say It Module 30080 using other board

I'm currently having my thesis and decided to use say it module 30080 but i don't have a BOE board, is there any way on how i can use it using other boards? Also, how will I be able to upload a program to it if using other board is possible.

What other "board" are you referring to?

Take a look on page 14 of the datasheet: it describes the communication interface that you need to follow with your other boards. You will not be able to use the SayIt GUI however.

Yes. You should be able to use any of the Arduino serial libraries to interface to the module.
