Just received a microSD hinged card holder and looking around the holder and reading the spec sheet I am still not able to open the card holder. Pushed and pulled, observed the Open & Lock arrows, nothing works. Any ideas ?

you should be able to slide the cover in the direction of "Open". You should hear a little "click" sound. Then the cover hinges open.

Thanks to all. The microSD card holder pn 452-10015. It appears after looking at the Open/Lock catch that you have to both push down (medium hard) AND slide the cover forward, to open it. Further, the SD card is locked in place when the cover is closed, and the SD card can not just be pulled out to remove it. The cover must be Opened before the SD card can be removed.

ViseGrips and a tire iron will def open 'er up, but she might close somewhat differently afterwards... :)

Or you could just buy a new card holder for each card, and swap them out as needed...:innocent:

I suppose these were made by the same inventors as the child-proof medication containers. After all, you wouldn't want a child to swallow a microSD would you?

In truth, all the microSDs that I have purchased so far have nothing to keep them in. I have been rather frantic about finding the right container to not loose the darned things.

BTW, don't listen to ERCO. He lives in Southern California.
