Or not. I recall with this shield they incredulously moved the power lead so it was on the opposite side to ground of the 3-pin connectors. B. A. D. They made the connectors be polarized, thinking this would keep people from plugging things in reverse, but many folks don't use the matching polarized plugs they sold with this board as a learning kit. Skip this one as an experimenter's board as sooner or later you'll plug in something backwards, and apply negatives to the positives. It's okay if you're using it for a finished project where you won't be unplugging/plugging things all the time.

One man's BAD is another man's GOOD. Worst case, you get a cheap smoke & sparks fireworks show. Heck, you can't even buy sparklers for $2.48 anymore.
