Speaking of vintage '60s toys, somebody recently got a smoking (literally) Ebay deal on this Gilbert ATOMIC ENERGY LAB for just $36! Sounds like the radioactive samples may have been included. IIRC, these have sold for many hundreds of dollars in the past.
At my current location it has been minus 28 Centigrade, it's a tad warmer now. About the whitest Christams I can imagine. Perhaps if I'm lucky I'll be able to post some pictures later. The mobile internet hardly works here.
Just anxiously awaiting the family to rise and exchange pressies... There is a DE0-Nano in there for me - I already took a sneaky test before it was wrapped so I am good to go
Both girls passed their morning quiz, "what's the most important thing about Christmas?", answering "Baby Jesus". So then it was time to open the presents. Dad got a few cool toy robots. @Whit+, thanks for making recommendations to the wifey. Merry Christmas to all!
For Christmas, the wife got... a new Kohler stainless sink and goodies, took 2 precious vacation days of my time to swap it all in. Felt a cold coming on the whole time. Now I'm finally on "my time" for fun projects, many of which won't happen because now I have a full-blown cold and I'm just biserable... life ain't always fair.
Hope that was not all she got or the cold would be the least of your worries!!! Then again at least you did not get her a vacuum cleaner or.... If i understood the dynamic correctly, you are grossly outnumbered at this point. Great pictures, mine was that size yesterday, now he is 11 !!!! Whats with dat????

Sorry to hear. :depressed: That happened to me last year.
This year's Christmas shutdown time has been filled with friends, family, tasty goodies, some fishing, a bit 'o yard work, projects (both fun ones and required ones) and a boat-load of video watching.
A belated Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year to all!
RDL - thanx for posting #24.

I hope Ahmadinejad didn't win it!

Edit: It does say Atomic in the title, but upon closer examination, it appears to be just a chemistry set.
It's not been too bad, I'm down in Southern California for a week though now, and it's raining. :P (it is warmer though)
