Proepller Powered - Customer Service through rain or sleet or DRIVING SNOW

It's 29 degrees here (feels like 16) and has been snowing on and off all day. This is what it looks like out my office window (those big blobs are ice and snow on the window):

I ordered a Prop Scope from PropellerPowered today so I could join in on the Open Scope project. I had no expectations of getting it in any big hurry with the Holidays and all. His usual speedy service would have been fine.

Shortly after ordering it, I get this message from Jeff (OBC):
Hey Rick,

I've already done the shipping for today, but I'm betting you wouldn't mind having it for the holiday.
I'll head back to the office and get it out for you today.

Jeff

I sent this back to him:
Jeff,

You really don't have to. Whenever you are back in there is fine with me!

Please, just enjoy your holiday!!

Thanks!

Rick
but I fear he had already left to go back to his shop. FYI, Jeff's about 30 minutes away from me so the weather in Orrville isn't much different!

A bit later, I get a notice from PayPal that he had shipped the package.

Thanks, big guy!! You have gone above and beyond!! I hope Santa is good to you and your family!

I don't want to embarrass Jeff but if you are looking for a place to spend your Christmas money, please check out PropellerPowered first!!

I'll second that sentiment! On my last order from PropellerPowered, I tried to order 2 sets of hardware, but on checkout it said only 1 was available. I later received an email from Jeff saying that he had some more stock, and did I need 2? I replied that I only had immediate need for 1 set, and would add the other to my next order. When I received my order, it had 2 sets of hardware, but he only charged me for 1. Now I'm trying to figure out how to pay him back. Just order more great stuff from him, I guess. I've been wanting a Smorgasboard, anyway...

    /blush Thanks guys..

I'm trying to run Propellerpowered with the idea of "Do onto others as you would have others do unto you..."

Parallax sets the bar of customer service pretty darn high, and we're trying to match it.

If at any point you have a problem, or feel we've broken this rule, do hesitate to contact me so we can make it right!

    Jeff,

The Post Office let you down but that's ok since I spent the weekend cleaning the garage and basement.....Ho, Ho,Ho!!!

Hopefully, I earned some time off this week to play with Propellers!!!

You're kidding! I could have driven it over to you in 45min.

They probably routed it by way of Akron since it was a Friday mailing.. Oh well. It'll be there Monday.
