3D Printed Biped Robot

This is a neat project that fuses an Android tablet and 3D printing to create a bipedal robot

Most of the brains are in the Android tablet, but it uses an Arduino Mega as a servo controller. That's a bit of a waste as there are many cheaper ways to control the servos including a Propeller chip.

    I don't generally like bi-peds but I like the look of that one.... hmmm, wonder what it would look like in aluminum? ;)

    Thats pretty cool! Did you see this http://www.projectbiped.com/projects/spool-bot I didnt know servos could carry a laptop, i may start using them more often!

    Spool Bot is neat too. I could probably build that with spare parts I already have lying around the house, except for the depth camera at the top. CR servos are actually pretty handy. They're slower than DC motors, but they're easy to use.
