Looks like they are hardware compatible as they have a uart with a wide range of baud rates all of which can be done by the propeller.
However, someone would have to write the software to talk to the graphical OS these displays use.

It should be Propeller compatible, and it only takes 2 or 3 lines (TXD, RXD, and Program/Run mode).
Unfortunately, I couldn't find it on the Amulet Technologies website, and the datasheet that you posted does not provide enough information to work with the module. Do you have the interface documentation, and the uHTML documentation?
Edit: nevermind, it looks like it is the same for all the Amulet modules: http://www.amulettechnologies.com/welcome/amulet-communication-protocol/ascii-protocol
Edit2: However, the GUI editing program is $520. I don't think I'll be able to use that... http://www.amulettechnologies.com/products/gui-design-software
My organization has over 300 new Amulet Technologies touch screens and we are trying to locate who the end users are so that we can try and make back some of the funds spent to purchase them. I've done the following to see them:
1. Directly to Amulet Technologies, they would not take them back as they are discontinued stock.
2. Directly to the distributors (Digi-Key, Mouser, Semiconductor, Nu Horizon, etc) would not take them as we are not a manufacture, they are older (2005) and have no warranty.
3.Electronics Brokers (received an offer from one for everything which was pennies for what we paid) otherwise, they are only offering us consigment.
4. A/V Installation companies, we emailed about 200 A/V installation companies personally and 6 responded saying no thank you.
5. Electronics Components store, most of them stated that they do not sell this type of item and passed on bidding.
6. I've also had it up on eBay for 3 weeks! No buyers or inquires as of yet.
I started to think who uses these types of touch screens, and the list was endless, banks, hosplitals, fast food places, airplanes, military, OMG! I want to nail down and locate who are the end users of these touch screens so that my organization can make back the most we can for these screens.
We have confirmed in writing from Amulet directly that they have no doubt our stock is in working condition. We have the original purchasing invoice proving they are authentic Amulet stock.
Any suggestions or ideas on end users would be very appreciated.
Below are all the specifics on these screens and YES they are Parallax compatible!

If you are interested in using these touch screens then I would be willing to put together a deal that is attractive.
I am, however, really seeking to find the end users of these types of touch screens...
I've searched the web to find out this data, no luck. I sent an email to Amulet to find out this data and should hear back tomorrow.

I'm going to guess they are resistive touch due to the age / price.
Here's a comparable unit...

What sort of company would purchase these touch screens?
Thanks for this information. Are you implying I should increase my price?
Maybe. It seems like the display software that the module runs off is not as advanced as the Amulet software, and it takes more work to create a GUI. Of course, the amulet software is $520, so...
ps: And why haven't I seen this "Banned" and strikethrough before? Have I just been missing all the banned people?
Because, normally, when someone is banned, their posts also get deleted, and no one is the wiser. By contrast, this is a rather odd situation that I'm still trying to get resolved.
Nope, quite the contrary. As a new forumista, the OP asked for guidance about where and how to post, and I gave it. But two of the OP's threads got merged by another moderator, things got a little confused, and somehow, in the turmoil, the OP got banned. Hopefully, this will all get sorted out soon, the account will get reinstated, and the OP can continue the enquiry which, to me, seems entirely legitimate and appropriate for the forum.

Hmmm. To me it looked like a forum newcomer who didn't understand the penchant for organization that we have. But, I'm also too trusting sometimes so that may apply here too.
Thanks Phil for your assistance on getting this sorted out.
Then you gone have to settle for pennies on the dollar, it’s 8 years old and no one will base a new product on an item like that.
Hobbyist here would probably like to play around with it, but you have to compare to what other new B/W touchscreen can be bough at mouser today and sell it cheaper.
We are flexible on the pricing, for sure and what you say make sense. I am trying to locate the end users, who uses these types of screens?
Secondly do you need a 520 dollar software suite to use this thing.
Thirdly its resistive, not capasative so im assuming finhers dont work well and you need a stylus?
You said your flexable on the price, considering other offerings out there that may make more sense and are half your asking price would you consider selling a single around the 30 to 50 range?
1) It's RS-232 (take a look in the brief)
3) Fingers work fine on resistive touch screens (as do hard point styluses).
The connection is db9.
Fingers will work.
Software is needed for these touch screens, not sure about the pricing. In this thread, it was stated $520 other then this, I am not sure.
We are flexible on the pricing, please follow this link to our eBay auction for one of these touch screens if this module works out for your needs. Check the software $ first.
