The WizNet 5200 for the QuickStart is coming soon. I want to take some time to publish source code and demos.

Here's a web server running on the WizNet 5200. I'll leave the server up for a little while so folks can play. The source files are attached. The WizNet 5200 web server is simple to use. Create an HTML project and copy the source to the SD card. The web server support the following file types; CSS, GIF, HTML, ICO, JPG, JS, PDF, PNG, TXT, XML, and ZIP.

Clicking the Datasheet or the This Web Site link on the web server can take a few seconds to render. Both download links are 2MB plus.

WizNet 5200 for the QuickStart Firmware Features
  • Fast SPI driver ~20MHz/10MHz Up/Down
  • DHCP
  • DNS
  • NetBIOS name services
  • SMTP/POP3 no TLS support at this time
  • Tons of source demos on Google Code

Be on the look out for more source code and demos.

...I've mainly been using the Client features, want to try the Server. Have to get a micro SD card - I've never used one. Web shopping I see there are quite a variety of speeds, classes, etc. I seem to recall that some are more suitable for use with Prop boards (ex: Spinnerette, BOE and now the W5200 Quickstart)? Thanks in advance for any advice on which specific card I should buy.

I have two SanDisks; 2G and 4G. Both are about 2 years old and work great.

Are yours labeled 'Micro SD' or 'Micro SD HC'?
