For anyone who's tired of run-of-the-mill Walmart Christmas decorations (moving deer, inflatables, etc), consider adding some servos and a sound chip to this guy's attention-getting display.

Here's what he has to say about it:

Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.

My sense of humor loves this.
But for some reason I can hear my old Dutch babysitter saying, "Vell now, let me tell you a story about a little boy who cried volf...."

heh, THAT's an attention grabber! Still, I think a 2-3 year old could manage hanging off a gutter like that. Me, I'd be on the ground with that whole run of gutter. Also, is that "guy" hanging off with his thumbs out? 270 degrees of wrist rotation... OUCH!
