I kinda miss the old Gadget Gangster Quickstart special, so I thought I'd come up with something similar.

I did some checking tonight and discovered that little box that Parallax packages the Quickstart in has some room for some additional goodies so here's what I'll pack into Quickstart boxes (while supplies last)..

Buy a Quickstart and get a FREE Pinfinder, and a Servo&More PCB w/40pin male header.

Yep, it all fits nicely into a Quickstart box. Thanks Parallax.. :)

That's a really good deal. I went to our local Radio Shack... with taxes, $47 and that doesn't include a free pin finder or a "more than just a servo" pcb.

Will refill my debit card in the AM when the bank opens. Is the servo board stackable with GadgetGangster's other boards...such as the TV/miniSD combo? I have some long female headers...but unless you or Nick says it's ok, I'm not touching them:)
    Are there volume discounts?

    Cracked here too!

The servo board concept looks great. One QS brain, into which different projects "servo boards" can be plugged.
Great idea for prototyping and then keeping those efforts for future reference.

Thank you for the great opportunity Jeff.

    Wow..

What a great response to this!

We might have a day lapse on shipping more as you guys have almost cleaned me out of Quickstarts overnight.
(1 left and more will be here Thursday!)

What do you guys think of doing something like this as a regular item? We could do a different board here and there.

    Would be great.

About your checkout.... (really slick by the way, even for overseas shipping).... but.... (there had to be a but....)

... Where is the big flashing sign that says " remember to check the bargain bin on the way to the checkout " ??? !!!

Those little sd and vga adapters look great ! Next time I will be sure to browse the bargains on the way out, and probably some other items too. You have some great stuff there! This time perhaps I rushed a little with the excitement of the great offer.. so when all the Christmas plastic is paid off I know which Propeller shop to check out!

    Jeff,

Didn't find Propeller Powered forums until today:)

Finally got around to looking at the documentation on the servo+++ board. And I think a few comments about why this kind of board is so useful might be in order.
First... there are 5V/3V selectable three wire socket areas and screw terminals that are not dedicated to anything... and the Propeller pins aren't connected until I connect them.
I would like to see another header added for pins 20..39 but that is a minor issue.

This board is compatible with the GG video/microSD card... So they are stackable, which means that every time you stack on a new layer, you get more
solderable prototyping area... very neat. In my case, I always seem to be placing my QuickStart boards at some risk of harm... which doesn't bother me as much as it should.
The really nice thing about these boards is that if I blow my QuickStart... all of my work can be unplugged from the bad Quickstart and plugged into a new one. And every thing is secure, so I don't have to
worry about what havoc will ensue if I try to move my creation.

And... I don't have wires hanging out all over the place, a true relief for a tired brain.

Any plans to bring back that video/microSD card? It is my favorite, and I see that Gadget Gangster is not offering them.

Just got the backordered Quickstarts in today and ordering more.

There are 14 of this combo-pack left in stock. Then we'll have to switch some something new. :)

OK, Could not resist! Order placed!

Jeff- I noticed the dropdown menu (Products/Bargain Bin) includes some items which appear available, but at checkout show "sold out". After looking again I can see they are either marked as "sold out" on the Bargain Bin "main page", or even not listed in the case of the 0.01c switch! But they still appear on the dropdown and can be ordered. May or may not be a concern, but just to let you know if that's not what you intended. No issue for me! Happily waiting for the super QS delivery and awesome value SD adapters!!

    @Maxwin,

Your order is on it's way!

You are right, the Bargain bin deserves some attention this weekend. I'll be weeding out some of those menu items that I know probably won't be back in stock anytime soon. Also, there's an item or two that needs to get dumped into the Expo Freebie box as it's last chance before heading to the recycler. :)

I'm so glad I came across this post as I had bought a GG quickplayer extreme board and couldn't get hold of the micro SD adapter to fit it, Thanks Jeff I have just ordered one

    Thanks!

Packaged up for Monday shipping. I plan to continue to support the GG boards in the next revision of that product as well.

The current kit requires that you solder the microSD connector yourself. (Not really that a hard a job) We just got an oven in for surface mount PCB work, so the next revision to arrive with that connector attached.

Now, does someone take the Servo & More or do you take what's behind Door #3???

Ah, but we're not revealing Door #3 until the Servo and More boards run out. :) At least those that aren't committed to kits already. :)

I placed the order for the "secret" item tonight and should have it in around 10 days. (fingers crossed)

Let's make the last few Servo & More add-ins interesting.

I just kitted the last 10 Servo & More PCBs with Quickstarts, only to discover I only had 9 uncommitted PCB's left. I quickly pulled one of the Servo & More Kits from the shelf and created number 10.

Then I thought... Since this is the last of this combo.. Let's have a little fun.

One of the remaining 8 Quickstarts in this deal will also contain ALSO complete Quickstart Extreme inside the box. (It barely fit)

I've mixed up all the remaining Quickstarts on the shelf, and I'm not exactly sure which order will get the bonus one. (and I'm NOT PEEKING)

Let me know who gets it!

This could be considered cruel and unusual marketing!! :o)
Good thing I've been put on a budget.
