Thread post disappearing after edit

I posted this thread, but after I edited my post, the post suddenly disappeared, and now I can only notice an empty thread without any posts in it.

Is this a bug, or is it just temporally?
The post had pictures and a code tag in it, if that matters..

    I've attempted a recovery on your lost post.

    Please check it and make sure everything is all there.

    Ketho - I've been unable to recover the post.

    When logged in with Moderator privledge, I can see the whole post. When logged in as a regular use, I cannot see it.

    Another Super User will have to address this.

    Ketho - I was finally successful in recovering your post and have re-installed it back in the Javelin forum.

    Thanks recovering my post, davejames and Mr. Pilgrim =)

    I forgot to add I was on Chrome 23.0.1271.91 m (for future reference)
    and I did read the How to post program code in the forum and Disappearing Percent Signs thread but there weren't any "%" characters in my code tag afaik ..

    The picture attachments seem to be "invalid attachments" though so I will try to post them again

    I too just posted something in general discussion and after trying to edit the thread title (typo) it was no longer there?

    Probably because you keep posting the same sales pitch in different forums.

    You've got a post in the "Parallax Classifieds" which is where it should be. If you keep posting the same stuff in different forums, you might get banned...

    I think there is some misunderstanding as they are regarding the same type of product, but one is asking a specific question with regards to their usage and the other is selling them. I hope that makes sense.
