Need some programming help

Hello, I'm very new, so please forgive me. I'm working on a project to remotely start my car on a timer. I will be using remote start transmitter tied to a stamp. I would like to first develop a program for a clock, set date and time using the stamp editor, then download alarm settings to send signals, to start car. Have some questions.
1. How do you display two changing variables on same line?
2. How do I program input variable to set time and alarms?
I own the BOE BOT kit, but where can I find good programming tutorial for more programming uses and less robotic uses? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

2) Same manual ... look under DEBUGIN statement
Work through the "What's a Microcontroller?" tutorial and look through the Nuts and Volts Columns. You'll find useful examples.
