Rant warning
And no, I don't plan to go crazy with the black (Thursday) Friday events going on save a trip to Fry's electronics on the way home from work tomorrow to pick up a few cables for my lab scope. Seems the material madness is truly madness given the economic conditions some of us find our fellows in. Just seems to make the holiday commercial stuff seem so pointless. Nothing really against all this, to each his own, thats the beauty of America. But makes you wonder about priorities......

Great call, Frank. No running around for me on Black Friday, the best things in life are free, and this holiday weekend is best spent with loved ones. I'm thankful for my job, health, and beautiful wife & kids. Today, they enjoyed something I got for free 2 weeks ago. During my lunchtime run at work, I found a rolled-up inflatable waterslide out on someone's curb. The trashman refused to take it, the homeowner told me. It had a small tear in it, but I grabbed it and the blower right after lunch. Fixed it for $12 worth of Tear-Aid and the kids loved giving it a "dry run" today. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
