Im starting a more revised, better-suited chassis for the chair robot go kart thingy. The Ver.2 will feature a steering system (haven't decided yet) but we know that we're gonna build a Formula 1 style steering wheel. Im looking into a touch screen LCD to interface with a propeller C3 (if its even possible) and im wondering how the propeller will talk to the main Arduino Uno. So how would an LCD like this get connected to the Propeller? http://www.4dsystems.com.au/prod.php?id=113

That is a pretty cool display. I think I will study it because I was just looking at this:

    http://store.earthlcd.com/SK-2000?sc=7&category=8 (straight up VGA interface)

and was also looking to add (from the same vendor) one of their touch kits as well.

I've been looking at touch screens all night but did not happen across the little gem you found, but I was filtering on VGA -- that probably was the curtain where your find was hiding from my searches.

Well my question is wether I should add touch screen support, how is it programmed via the Propeller board, and how is this all wired? And i wanna keep the whole setup under $200 if i can :P

Well im almost wondering if this would end up being way easier:http://www.robotshop.com/3-2-tft-lcd-touch-shield-arduino.html I could just have the Arduino Mega inside the steering wheel with the screen sitting ready to be played with. Also, is build a quick-release type thing a little much?

that is a neat enough device too. I'm wondering how hard it is to use. A quick perusal of the documentation didn't yield much insight (to me at least).

Yeah the documentations a lil sketchy. Maybe this would be better? http://www.robotshop.com/seeedstudio-touch-shield.html
I just wonder how its programmed... (I mean like what code)
