    Anyone remember Tickle Me Elmo? The local Walmart screwed up and put them out about 2 hours before midnight of the official release day. I grabbed 10 of them and waited for the stores to be sold out. Sold all 10 on EBay for a pretty hefty profit. Now the voice of Elmo is in trouble.

    I actually had GI Joe astronaut and he even talked when you pulled the string. I couldn't make out what he said, but he talked. The incongruity of GI Joe getting transferred to NASA never really bothered me that much, nor his later transfer to the department of fighting COBRA. It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it.

    GI Joe was originally in the Navy, Air Force and USMC too. More than likely, it was one of those Joes that transferred to NASA with their aviation experience. His space capsule sure was cool, regardless of which branch of the service that Joe hailed. One of mine was a Seal also - quite an impressive resume!!

    I remember having a GI Joe that was a 'hardhat' diver. You could play with him in the bathtub, and if I remember, there was a hose you could blow in to cause bubbles to come out of his helmet. Broke my heart when they shrank him a few years ago (although I think he 'grew' back?).

    I think the Propeller 2 should be called the "Swing Wing." The logical progression of a propeller beanie hat.

    The best toy around has to be the good old chattering teeth, there's no bigger laugh to be had than to wind a pair up and put them on the dinner table at christmas and watch grandma red faced trying to grab hold of them quickly :smile:
