    found the graphics_demo.spin file in the library which i can use to broadcast but confused as how this statement sets pins?

    long %001_0100 (how does this number relate to which pins are used)

    I can't answer your question directly but I can tell you what I know (and bump this thread).

    I think the fourth pin of the four pin group is used for the broadcast mode. I don't know how to set this up though.

    The Hydra book has lots of video information and now a free pdf download.
