    I find it really odd that a hydrogen fueled spy plane designed for 4-day flights isn't using a fuel cell for at least one engine. Specifically, the high temperature solid oxide fuel cells can hit over 60% efficiency. That should double the endurance of the plane. You'd still want to keep the IC engine for take-off, climb power, and backup. (though I'd add a folding propeller to the IC engine side) Maybe that's an upgrade planned for a "B" version of the Phantom Eye?

    And while you're at it, fill that blimp-shaped internal cavity with hydrogen for extra lift. At least blaugas!
