Inroducing...Waldo!

Earlier this year, a number of you shared in my grief at the passing of my beloved cat Kitty (aka Simba). The heartfelt support helped more than you'll know.
Now I'd like to have you share in my gratitude that Waldo has decided to live with us!
As you can see he's a "tuxedo", about 2 years old, and weighs in around 11 lbs. His previous slave owner moved to an apartment that didn't allow pets, so we opted to take him on a trial basis. Waldo lived under our bed for almost two months, scared witless the poor guy. Then magically, at the third month he accepted his fate and became part of our family.
As a younger cat, he's still learning the ropes of living in the James household. He has an affinity to one of Peggy's plants and uses them as part of his diet. And he's on his way to becoming a very nice lap-cat...although he's still a bit jumpy even after being here for a number of months.
As a few of you noted, at some point another cat would wander into our lives. It's happened.
Welcome Waldo!

Waldo is a very handsome cat, I'm sure Browser will approve of his coloring.
I'm glad you were able to let another cat enter your lives, I'm sure Simba approves.

Good luck!

And good on ya, davejames & Waldo!
Live seems pretty complicated without proper supervision thru a experienced cat.
I could see the first snow on the top of the Konocti this morning... greatings form Lake County...
Enjoy!

Here they are watching the Westminster Dog Show.
And yes, "Where's" (as in where's Waldo?) does figure into his name due to his ability to hide. I've never seen a cat able to flatten-out as much as this one.
