    That is really neat. If his servos are fast enough, he make be able to improve walking by lifting the legs, looks like now he's just rotating them and shuffling along. Love that sideways rolling maneuver.

    And cleverly made from a beer can. What's not to like?

    Cool! I got a bunch of those little servo, if I pick up a six pack on the way home, by night-fall, I'll have empty cans and another forgotten project opportunity.......

    Father: Son, what do you think that is?
    Son: Beer?
    {son runs toward beer }
    F: no, no, leave it alone
    {son stops running with a puzzled look}

    Apparently, that "free beer" response starts young in some!

    That was my first impression, too. With six servos, something better should be possible, but I wonder what kind of gait would work.

    A drunken, staggering gait IS appropriate, given that it's a can of beer. IMHO it needs a small reservoir of frosty pale ale up top, so it can locate an empty mug, walk up to it, and pour itself in.

    Oh, how I love robotics!
