No more wildcard searches on ebay. What a huge disappointment to buyers and sellers.

This change will probably adversely affect just about anyone that uses ebay. I can't see any benefit to the users (buyers or sellers) from this change. It only makes it more difficult to find things:

Really?? No long being able to look up by partial part numbers and misspellings? They have done a lot of bad changes to their system recently to make it harder to sell and harder to buy but this is ridiculous. Ruins all my saved searches.

    I source a handful of items for projects on Ebay, but I'd say that I find myself using them less and less.

    Not being able to look up items with wildcard search is NOT a positive step forward..

    Yeah, it's pretty stupid. It just goes to show how out of touch Ebay's management really is. They've been slowly going down the tubes for the last several years. I'm glad I don't own any of their stock.

    It seems to me like the old "Nothing better to do" concept comes in to play here. Their web designers are obviously bored so they thought "hey, how many people can we p*** off if we do this?".
