Would this be capable of rendering color video on an html page?

You mean like streaming an MPEG? I didn't try it. It can serve up HTML with the embed code to a video in the onboard storage so long as the client browser could decode the stream. In fact I think the demo mode plays some Flash videos, you should ask on their forum with all the specifics. I just got this for playing with node.js and GPIO.

No, I mean live video. Such as plugging in an IP camera and having that viewed on a mini monitor. I will check their site. If it will work I am interested in it.

You can embed the IP cam's viewer into the HTML page on this thing no problem. From there it is the work of the browser and IP camera's feed. The easiest way to do that is open the page to view your IP cam, view the source of the page and copy and paste it into your HTML on the BeagleBone. You can get a web server up and running on the BeagleBone in seconds, and only a few lines of code. If the viewer is watching an IP camera you put on the page that the BeagleBone is serving, the BeagleBone doesn't render anything, it just tells the browser where to find it.

If you're asking if the BeagleBone itself has a video output port, it does not.

No, I understand there is no video output. If this is still available in a couple weeks I may buy it. I am already over my monthly budget for electronics and the month just started!!!

What do you got? I'm really trying to downsize, I still have a ton of parts and three more robots to sell. The end result is one UAV and one medium size robot, if you have anything related to that let me know.
