12 Volt Power Distribution Board

edited 2012-11-04 19:01 in General Discussion
My Battery for my robot is a Lead Acid12 Volt 7aH. And i have a wall charger for it and needed a power distribution board so i tried to work it all into one board and wanted someone to take a look at it and let me know if it would work or if i needed to add/remove something.
Thanks,

With one exception it looks like it should work If I am interpreting your diagram correctly. The exception is the 12V regulators. With input coming from a 12V battery the regulators will not be able to maintain a 12V output. The regulators need a higher voltage in than the desired regulated output. Of course if you only want to guarantee that it does not go over 12V, and don't mind it dropping a volt or three below 12V that is ok.

thanks and i think that it would be ok the 12 volt ones are just powering my ez-b and motor controller (with the 7.2volt motors from parallax)
