Im opening a little store in Brisbane next year, just selling anything electronic, tablets, phones, r/c models and robots. I wanted to sell Gigantor robots, but I think they are Japanese. Still I did find some cool robots and other stuff.

Im not going to sell micro controllers but I wonder if those guys sell arduino , picaxe, prop clones ??? Just chatter, nothing more.

I always wanted someone in China to clone the (Scenix/Ubicom) SX. Guess it's not going to happen.

@UN: Pass on the Chinese clones. Ken will make you a sweet package deal on 36,000 GENUINE SX28AC/DP-G chips: http://www.parallax.com/StoreSearchResults/tabid/768/txtSearch/sx/List/0/SortField/4/ProductID/355/Default.aspx

A smart guy would design a product to use that chip and take advantage of this smokin' deal and make a production run of 36,000. In & out, gas & go, take the money & run.

    Wish I was smart.

like u i wasn't serious. we cant complain about any microcontrollers, except maybe the basic stamp. If you just consider the chip itself its way over priced but it makes up for a bit in all the learning manuals you can download and great forums, but then picaxe is not far behind and you can one of them for 5 bucks :) but im not qualified with marketing and costings and return on inversment...they must have had a HUGE investment !
