SCRs and DEF: $2.69/gallon

Maybe I'm the only person who didn't know what DEF is. On my recent cross-country drive, I kept seeing "DEF at the pump" at large gas stations (travel stops) for $2.69 a gallon. What the heck...?
And you thought you knew what SCR stands for? Selective Catalytic Reduction!
A quick wiki search said "Diesel Exhaust Fluid", http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_Exhaust_Fluid
Some type of urea-based fluid (ick) which is injected into diesel engines to limit exhaust emissions. So human emissions can control machine emissions...
Based on the gallon-sized coffee mugs I saw many truckers refilling inside these fuel stops, they might be able to save money and eliminate the middleman and have a "direct injection" line from the driver's seat directly to the diesel engine.
Am I sitting on a million-dollar idea?

Can't wait to see this on Kickstarter!!
P.S. doesn't Phil have a diesel? Maybe you could borrow it for testing!

And the DEF fluid shouldn't be yellow... :-) It's clear to slightly bluish (at least in the huge cubes they pump from!)
