I need a good tutorial or guide to explain how to read schematics. I started stampworks, and cannot get past ex 13. Help would be appreciated ! Thanks.
If you want to learn about schematics, just be sure that you can sort out the differences between how the Europeans draw them and how the Americans do so.
After WWII, everything was very standardized, at least in the USA. I think this was mostly because we were using tubes and everything required a repair manual with complete schematics. But over the years and with CAD, styles have become more divergent.
But I worry a bit that the new ARRL Handbooks just are not as educational as the old ones, and NEETS is a bit old. The ARRL may have a study course that helps or you can try your public library for old editions.
I will second the reply on Forest Mims books...if you can find one of his they're what got me started and many find them extremely useful for getting started.

Here's the same book, used, but the $4 price tag includes free shipping if you're in the USA.

Some good old reliable references are the "ARRL Handbook" and NEETS Electronics Course.
