Erco, I know you share my fondness for fine toys and those who build them. If you haven't already, check out the (too short) retrospective on Marvin Glass and his MGA studio in the current issue of MAKE (#32) just out.
For those who may not be familiar with Glass, he and/or his designers came up with some of the most enduring toys of the 20th century, including Rock'Em Sock'Em Robots,Mousetrap, and Operation. When I was a wee tyke I read an article about Marvin Glass and then on had dreams of being a toy maker. I don't know what he was like personally, but I figured anyone who had a job where they got to play all day was okay. (And that's what made me think of our good pal Erco!)
