nes controller to control air suspension

hello everyone, what im trying to do, is make a project box that has an nes socket in, with a basic 2 stamp that converts the NES buttons to actual outputs. i need to basically make the d-pad, start, select, a and b all outputs to control solenoid valves. since the controller circuit board only uses 5+ volts, im going to put an automotive(12vDC to 5vDC) transformer inline to drop to 5 volts for the controller itself, that will control 8 seperate relays. if anyone can help, id really appreciate it, ive found the pbasic program for nes sockets, but i just cant figure this out, and im trying to learn as i go. but im not sure that im even going in the right direction...if anyone wants to type it out for me that would be alot easier! lol thanks again!
